The Dartmoor Hunt meets on high central Dartmoor, near to Wydemeet on Tuesdays. Its meets are on the southern side of the moor, a 35 minute drive, or not on the moor at all, on Saturdays.
The Devon & Somerset Staghounds meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
We recommend weekday hunting because:
- Dartmoor's Tuesday meets are a short drive from Wydemeet
- you will be part of a small field (10 - 30) of the moorlands' most seasoned local huntsmen and women
- better availability of accommodation and hunter hirelings
